Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Surgeon General of Florida, is the inaugural recipient of Americans for Health Freedom’s “Moral Courage Award.” As an outspoken advocate for medical freedom in Florida, Dr. Ladapo consistently stands up for what he believes is right, regardless of popularity. Under his leadership, Florida ceased recommending COVID shots for children and pregnant women three years ago, and during a press conference on July 17, 2025, Dr. Ladapo clearly stated no one should receive these shots.
